CP's point about Q2.102 is true but not easily understood from the English translation. Basically, the angels Harut and Marut were taught magic by allah himself, and they had allah's permission to tempt humans to learn it, too. They gave people a warning first that this magic was evil and only disbelievers would insist on learning it. If people still insisted, then the angels would teach them. It follows, of course, that the people then used the magic to do evil things, like sowing discord between husbands and wives. This is in direct violation of the moral character of the true God, who does NOT tempt human beings (James
1:13). According to the Bible SATAN is the one who tempts people, though he failed to tempt Jesus (Matt 4:9-11). Is allah really Satan in disguise?
Osama has no answer, so he accuses the God of the Bible of lying just like allah lies. He mentions 1 Kings 22:22-23, 2 Chronicles 18:21, and 1 Samuel 18:10, 19:9 to support this false accusation. But he can easily be refuted: First, if we start reading from 1 Kings 22:19-23, we see that God's true prophet, Micaiah was actually WARNING the king of Israel that the false prophets are urging him to go to war because of a "lying spirit." It's true that God allowed the spirit to do his mischief, but He still sent His prophet to warn the king of the TRUTH (which was that he would lose the war). Second, 2 Chronicles 18:21 is the exact same story (which Osama probably doesn't realize). And finally, 1 Samuel 18:10, 19:9 have nothing to do with lying spirits. If we start reading from 1 Samuel 18:1-16 it is clear that God was again prophesying the TRUTH to the King. Saul was distressed because God was showing him that his reign was over and David would be the next King... So, Osama Abdallah has no clue what he's talking about. Like many Muslims, he is just mindlessly copying from Muslim websites.
